My First Time In a Hardbound Bullet Journal

After many years of using a ring bound planner I have started a bullet journal for 2022. The following is a time lapse video of how I set up a blank notebook for the quarter.

This journal tracked my appointments, tasks, hobbies, dreams and journal entries from January 2022 - March 2022.

I carried this notebook along with my Hobonichi avec, inside an A5 Newester Traveler’s Notebook until late April 2022.

Ocean Themed Washi Tape Swatches and My Hobbies

This video is sped up footage of me making washi-tape banners with Notebook Therapy’s Tsuki Ocean Edition Washi Set. In it I describe the tapes in detail as well as discuss what my hobbies are.

I bought these tapes at the end of Summer 2021. I love cetaceans so much that I had to do something special to showcase all of these beautiful washi-tapes. I penciled in some banners and then used a ceramic knife to cut the triangle shapes of the ribbon and banners. I used a fine point pen to outline all of the stickers and banners in black.

Here’s a list and a brief description of the tapes and stickers featured in this spread.

• Black Gold Orca: features gold stars and moons with a shooting star/sun on a black background. There is an orca breaching in the waves and both are outlined in gold foil.

• Roll of Stamp Stickers: A crescent moon is in a a dark blue sky, with light blue and gold foil waves are underneath. The second sticker features a dolphin breaching in the moonlight. The ocean is navy blue and the sky is dark blue with gold stars.

• Water Color Sky Circles: Each circle is various shades of blue with some hints of pink and purple.

• Thin Blue Ombre: Gold stars, crescent moons, bubbles, and Japanese Hiragana on an ombre teal-blue background

• Royal Gold Sky Waves: Gold crescent moon and stars on white and light blue clouds with a royal blue background

• Checked Blues and Gold: My favorite in this set! This checked washi-tape has striped, dotted, and solid squares in white, gold, navy, light blue, teal and light teal.

• White Gold Dolphin Waves: A teal dolphin is breaching over teal ombre waves. Waves and dolphin are outlined in gold on a white background.

• Space Cetaceans: Teal dolphin, sperm whale, and spheres with gold accents on a white background with gold stars

• Humpback Landscape: A teal blue humpback whale with gold accents is breaching with ombre teal-gray clouds and mountain with star outlines on a white background

• Wide Golden Waves: Although I ran out of time to describe this one in the video, I’ll be describing it here. This wide washi-tape has gold outlined waves on a white background with a light blue water color and gold stars.
